Easy, Yet Hard.
Visiting some friends in Utah?
Wanting to enjoy some low-cost golf courses in Utah Valley?
Well, if you’re in the area, give East Bay Golf Course a try.
Yes, emphasis on the TRY.
At a glance, East Bay looks like a cake-walk. It is wide open, flat, very little tree coverage, short par 4’s and even an option to play a short executive course.
Shortly after hole one, you’ll realize that if your struggling from a strong hook or lack some distance on your approach shot, you may experience anything but a cake-walk. You might want to bring scuba gear and/or a beach towel.
Utah is a desert state, however it seems all of the water has accumulated at East Bay Golf Course.
Likewise, the closest beach is 653 miles from East Bay Golf Course. However if you’re looking for a sun tan on sand, you won’t be disappointed.
It isn’t a bad course. It is groomed, watered, and trimmed. In fact it is quite popular, however, it is best suited for golfers who know their swing, club distances, and can adapt to some challenging rough spots.
In all seriousness, for the price, it is a great option and close to I-15, Brigham Young University, and other scenic areas of Northern Utah.
We went to Don Joaquin’s Street Tacos after, and my God, they were out of this world amazing.
